Advertising of the future with QR Codes

Tags: QR Codes

Welcome to the advertising of the future.

This is an exciting and thrilling new way to share content digitally. QR stands for Quick Ready, and that’s exactly what it does. QR codes are two-dimensional barcodes that can be placed anywhere an image could be placed. They contain a variety of data that any camera on a smart phone can read and interpret. The phones translate any digital information stored on the barcode, from contact information, website address, upcoming events, and more. The possibilities are considerably limitless. What’s more? You can track them, so you know if your information was accessed.

With such a broad scope, QR codes are very beneficial to any business large or small, and can be used in numerous ways to either track traditional print efforts or create new cross media marketing campaigns. These codes can be printed on anything, so you could use them on business cards with your contact information. If you made t-shirts, you could place link a code on the sleeve to an online store to buy more of them. You could use them on your front sign or your newspaper ad — anywhere that you might want to offer added value to your viewers or visitors.

We are literally crazy about this new technology! You can include them with any print advertising: flyers, billboards, posters, mailings, tv ads, or clothing containing:

Go ahead and test this QR Code out with your Smartphone to add our contact information into your phone.
  • Contact Information
  • Product Details
  • Event Details
  • Special Promotions
  • Coupons
  • Website
  • Facebook, Twitter, or social media channel
  • YouTube video.

Another benefit of QR Codes is their high tracking capability. You can know how many people have captured your code with their phones (when they first access a URL). You can know the location of the users and the peak time and day of your QR activity. This data can be utterly valuable in determining what marketing avenues are working and when. This, in turn, can help plan future campaigns for greater effectiveness.

Be sure to contact us for a consultation to see how you could use QR to measure your current marketing and advertising efforts.
